Salt & Shine Home Services was created around one simple idea: practical support can make a huge difference.
A home-cooked meal, a clean kitchen, folded laundry, groceries picked up, or a fridge reorganized can take real pressure off a busy household.
After helping friends and families—especially during postpartum and other demanding seasons—we saw a genuine need for a service that combines meal preparation, cleaning, and household support in one place.
That idea became Salt & Shine Home Services.

Why We Started Salt & Shine
Salt & Shine started from something we were already doing—helping friends and family through busy and overwhelming seasons of life.
From preparing meals and cleaning to helping new parents during the postpartum period, to assisting elderly family members with nutritious meals and a clean home, we saw how much of a difference practical support at home could make. That experience inspired us to create a service that gives individuals and families reliable, personalized help when they need it most.

Our culinary services are led by a Red Seal–certified culinary professional with Advanced Food Safe Level 2 certification, bringing professional food preparation and food-safety knowledge directly into our clients' homes.
Our team also holds RCMP Criminal Record Checks with Vulnerable Sector clearance, reflecting the level of trust and responsibility that comes with working in private homes.
We are committed to continued growth and professional development and plan to pursue nutrition-focused qualifications and education in the near future to further strengthen the services we provide.
